We did out first bit 'physical marketing' today, handing out flyers at the University of Edinburgh's volunteering fair. So, to those of you who I assaulted with flyers - welcome! While it should (hopefully) be easy enough to find everything that I promised you could whilst thrusting flyers onto you, this article is here to help you navigate the site. Finding organisations To look through the organisations listed on the website in alphabetical order, click "browse organisations" in the top right hand side menu. Alternatively, you can search for organisations that match your specific criteria using our organisation search function, which is also on the right hand side of the website. To find free volunteering opportunities, simply select "free" in the drop down menus labelled either "price (short term)" (which is up to 4 weeks) or "price (long term)" which is anything over 4 weeks, and hit search. Other volunteering information We've also got lots of other information about volunteering, ranging from safety information (the safety menu is on the left hand side) for specific countries, to info about the various job types (to your right) that students often opt for when volunteering abroad. We aim to provide reviews of the volunteering organisations listed on the website. These can often be found in the organisation's listing (assuming they have one) or by using the search function at the top of the site. Alternatively, you can check out most of our organisation reviews here and all of our volunteer interviews here. |

Dear future volunteer ! My Time in the Innocent children home in Pokhara Nepal was amazing and full with love and child care .I have enjoyed every moment of life in this children home.Kids in the children home are very very happy and joyful with so little they have and fun with nature.Touching them and playing with these kids was just like the real God has come to you and talking to you ,playing with you, sharing many thing with you, loving to you and make you think about our life in the west,When these children in this country are happy with so little they have.Afterall this at about 8.30 or 9 Am we eat Dal Bhat ,rice and lentils, sometim es with tasty locally grown fresh vegetable. My friend Weihan and I bought hens for daily eggs. This orphanage and kids are complete delight. Max Wang Email:kansaimax @live.com
